Investment Criteria
Global Investment Aggregates is actively targeting the acquisition of small to medium-sized businesses across multiple industries. We are a cash buyer with sufficient resources to acquire any company that falls within our specific investment criteria. GIA is seeking to acquire businesses that are either non-core or under-performing and in need of management expertise to maximize profit. Below is a list of typical acquisition candidate characteristics:
- Real Estate – Multi-family, office building, shopping, senior centers, retail, and industrial
- Typically subsidiary of a larger corporation or family-owned entity
- Revenue of $5 to $250 million
- Marginally profitable (less than 10% EBITDA margins) to highly distressed (negative EBITDA or negative revenue trend)
- Majority of operations in the USA or Europe. We will consider areas in emerging markets on a case by case basis.
- Valuation based on percentage of asset value or multiple of cash flow
- Existing portfolio company “add-ons”
