Acquisition Timeline
Global Investment Aggregates is structured to move quickly from valuation to due diligence to closing in an expeditious manner. Our acquisition team consists of attorneys, business executives, CPAs, and seasoned investors with a combined industry experience of over 80 years. GIA has established a compressed timeline in order to meet the most aggressive needs of a seller. Below is our typical timeline and involved process.
Day 1
Submission of a business summary, including written description, three years of financials (income statements, balance sheet and cash flow statement, current financials and two years of projected financials).
Day 5-10
Conference call with seller – to discuss business summary, deal specifics, timing, and steps to finalize acquisition terms.
Day 12
GIA will issue term sheets with the seller to review
Day 15-20
Term sheet is negotiated and signed. (Dependent on seller’s approval process)
Day 25-60
The due diligence and legal documentation process is where GIA conducts focused due diligence. After that, both parties review the legal documentation through their legal counsel.
Day 60-65
The final completion of the acquisition process and the deal closing.
